My Neighbor Totoro

I finally saw this old Studio Ghibli release - it was really cute. Now I've got that tune "to-to-to-to-toro" or "dun-dun-dun---dun--dun-dun" stuck in my head. After all these years of watching Miyazaki's imagination unfold onscreen it's nice to finally know where his logo comes from, lol. Wikipedia informs me there's even an asteroid named after the old forest spirit - 10160 Totoro.

The big party at my house was awesome - it was really great to see so many old friends.

On a delicious note, I've started eating a lot of fruit. After trying to make a giant leap to a healthy, well balanced diet I realized it's just too much. Better to start eating something healthy I like that's easy to prepare and expand from there. And by expand from there, I mean expand to vegetables, because they taste half as good and require much more work. For example, the only thing I like in salad is cucumbers, which require skinning and slicing and are actually a fruit botanically speaking. It's the first "vegetable" on my list ;).
